CAMDEN — A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ruth Lisenby Moore, 91, of Camden, S.C. will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at Hermitage Baptist Church in Camden. Rev. Jason Fletcher and Rev. Buster Morris officiated. Burial followed in Malvern Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Camden. The family will receive friends at 12 Noon in the fellowship hall at Hermitage, 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made in her memory to Hermitage Baptist Church Building Fund, 814 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, S.C. 29020 or the American Heart Association of S.C. Memorials & Tributes, P. O. Ruth Lisenby Moore, widow of Clarence E. Moore, died, Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. She was born in Chesterfield, S.C., the daughter of the late Niven L. and Bessie Rivers Lisenby. She was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters, Cherrie M. Knight of Durham, N.C. and Kaye M. Quillian of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sons, Dennis E. Moore of Thaxton, V.A. and B. Ray Moore of Watervilet, M.I.; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her son, Ronnie T. Moore; 7 brothers and 4 sisters.
