Trinity-Byrnes names new director of middle school

Trinity Byrnes Collegiate School recently named Kelley Byrd, Director of Middle School.
A classroom veteran of more than 25 years, Byrd has most recently served Trinity Byrnes as Dean of Students.
“I am tremendously honored to have been named Director of Middle School at Trinity Byrnes,” said Byrd. “It is a great pleasure to work collaboratively with Head of School, Ed Hoffman and Assistant Head, Rob Curran, faculty, staff and students to move Trinity Byrnes in a positive direction reflecting the school’s dedication, determination, and persistence in focusing on innovation, the arts, and progressive ideas being implemented at our school.”
A graduate of Francis Marion University, Byrd resides in Darlington with her husband Tony and is the mother of two adult children: T.J. and Caroline.
Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School is a coeducational, non-discriminatory, college-preparatory day school serving students in grades seven through 12 located in Darlington, S.C.
