About 140 kids ages 6-18 attended the Junior Hornets Basketball Clinic at the Cheraw Community Center last Thursday night. David Thompson, former NBA All-Star player for the Seattle Supersonics, and Jim Wilson, director of youth programs for the Charlotte Hornets, told the kids to “S.C.O.R.E” big in life. “S.C.O.R.E.” is an acronym for Sacrifice, Confidence, Organization, Respect and Education.
