Artsville launches new series

Hartsville — Artsville, the creative minds behind Artsville House Concerts, Artsville Open Mic and The Artsville Songwriting Competition, is introducing a new concert series: Artsville Saturday Nights.
According to Artsville’s website, ASN (for short) is “a listening-room, dinner-and-a-show concert series featuring some of the country’s top independent songwriters.”
The series consists of three concerts, featuring Shannon Whitworth, Dylan Sneed, and Willy Porter. The concerts will take place this spring, in March (8), April (12), and May (10). The Midnight Rooster in downtown Hartsville will host the series, and will offer a special food and beverage menu for each event.
Artsville is offering three levels of tickets: a three-show pass, a reserved table, and a single general admission ticket. Concert goers can find all three levels on sale at welcometoartsville.com, along with more detailed information on each performing artist.
“The idea is ‘stay in and go out,’” says Artsville founder, Dylan Sneed (also one of the performing artists). “We’re trying to reach out to a slightly younger audience with this series; to let them know they don’t have to go far to enjoy a one-of-a-kind live music experience.”
