The following arrests were recently made by the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office:


• Columbus Robert Johnson, 71, of 496 Bennett Road, Pageland, was arrested for aggravated assault.


• Carolyn Evette James, 35, of 246 Singletree Lane, Cheraw, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.


• Arvada Merriman, 49, of 781 Pleasant Grove Church Road, Cheraw, was arrested for driving under suspension, improper lights, and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.


• Heather Skinner, 26, of 587 Hatchery Road, Cheraw, was arrested for simple assault.


• Jovine Darby Labit, 46, of 587 Hatchery Road, Cheraw, was arrested for simple assault.


• Beulah Sinclair, 54, of 982 JH Burch, Pageland, was arrested for simple assault.


• Mary Susan Jenkins, 33, of 3460 Midway Road, Cheraw, was arrested for criminal domestic violence.


• Christopher Rashon Baylor, 31, of 3460 Midway Road, Cheraw, was arrested for criminal domestic violence.


• Roseette Leach, 46, of 30 Hooks Lane, Cheraw, was arrested for simple assault, and destruction/damage/vandalism of property.


• Gary Donald Blair, 30, of 226 Ousleydale Road, Patrick, was arrested for unlawful weapon and possession of stolen goods.


• James Anthony Burch, 18, of 175 E. Pine Ridge Road, Chesterfield, was arrested for consuming marijuana.


• Lander Walters, 18, of 951 Windmill Road, Chesterfield, was arrested for drug/narcotic violations.


• Mikel DShawn Blakeney, 18, of 292 Pine Ridge Road, Chesterfield, was arrested for drug/narcotic violations.


• James Heath Chavis, 37, of 435 Triangle Lane, Clio, was arrested for driving under the influence, open container, and assault on a law enforcement officer.


Arrest reports published in the Cheraw Chronicle are copied from local law enforcement records. Reports include both arrest and criminal summons such as citations. The Chronicle lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty in a court of law.
