COLUMBIA — In observance of National Elder Law Month, the S.C. Bar pro bono program will sponsor a free legal clinic in Cheraw on May 22.


Attorney Sarah L. Clingman will discuss wills, estate, probate and end-of-life issues, including health care powers of attorney, living wills, DNR orders, powers of attorney, funeral planning and cremation.


The clinic will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Matheson Library located at 227 Huger St.


The seminar is free for anyone who would like to attend. The format typically consists of an overview followed by a question and answer session. A schedule of other upcoming seminars throughout the state is available online at www.scbar.org/clinics.
