McBEE — Nestlé Waters North America is inviting the public to an open house today to learn more about the company and the potential for building a bottled water plant in Chesterfield County.
“Listening to the community and seeking community input is important to Nestlé Waters,” Lance Tully, the company’s senior natural resource specialist, said in a release. “This open house will provide the community an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the potential project and Nestlé Waters.”
Nestlé representatives and independent scientists will be on hand at the open house to provide information and answer questions about the company, the potential project, the bottling facility and possible job opportunities, said Tully, who is managing the project.
Hot dogs and refreshments will be served at this family-friendly event, the company said. The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 26 at 461 Oak St. in McBee.
