The Cheraw Rotary Club is accepting nominations for its annual Blondie Pate Rotary Four Way Test Service Above Self award.
Nominees cannot be affiliated with the Cheraw Rotary Club and must exemplify the group’s creed, “Is it the Truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better friendships? Is it beneficial to all concerned?”
The award is named after Blondie Pate, a former Rotarian who lived the Rotary Creed. He was a role model for all Rotarians and his legacy lives on in the hearts of Rotarians and all area citizens.
Nominations for this award should be delivered or mailed to Ron Bartley at Northeastern Technical College, 1201 Chesterfield Highway, Cheraw, SC 29520.
Nominations must be received by June 29, 2012. The award will be presented July 16.
