John Mark Funderburk and Tara Fitzpatrick Bryant.
Autumn Bryant announces the engagement of her mother, Tara Fitzpatrick Bryant, daughter of Sue Fitzpatrick of Cheraw and the late Jim Fitzpatrick of Florence, to John Mark Funderburk, Jr., son of John and Rachel Funderburk of Pageland.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Fred and Helen Sarra of New Britain, Connecticut, the late James and Cecelia Fitzpatrick of Portland, Maine, and Virginia Sarra of Cheraw. She is a 1991 graduate of Cheraw High School and a 1995 graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Robert and Annie Owens and the late Bon and Lala Funderburk, all of Pageland. He is a 1990 graduate of Central High School and a 1994 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Both are employed with the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.
A wedding is planned for November 11, 2011, at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Cheraw.
