The following people were recently arrested on these charges by the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office:
• James Colby Starnes, 26, of 1727 Highway 9 West, Bennettsville, was arrested for drug/narcotic violations and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• David Layne Jordan, 35, of 126 Cliffside Drive, Greer, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
• Marques Dewayne Allen, 24, of 580 Guess Road, Pageland, was arrested for open container, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Willie Taijerae Meadows, 23, of 609 Guess Road, Pageland, was arrested for open container and ABC violation.
• Douglas Wayne Arant, 45, of 272 Salebarn Road, Pageland, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Arrest reports published in the Cheraw Chronicle are copied from local law enforcement records. Reports include both arrest and criminal summons such as citations. The Chronicle lists them all as arrests. People charged are presumed innocent until determined to be guilty by a court of law.
