Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School participated in the 36th annual Pee-Dee Regional High School Mathematics Tournament on Tuesday, Dec. 4, hosted by Francis Marion University. Trinity-Byrnes placed first in Division III for Independent Schools.

The students had individual written competition to determine which schools advanced to the Tournament finals. Jeff Chen placed first overall in the written competition of all the students in the entire tournament answering 13 of 18 questions correctly.

Four TBCS students represented the school in the finals: Jeff Chen, Christian Carey, Chloe Johnson and Robin Whiteman.
