Sarah Elizabeth Crawford, daughter of Marian and the late Richard Crawford and granddaughter of Ida Mae and Joe Burch Sr., all of Cheraw, graduated from Charleston School of Law on May 12, 2012.

On the day of graduation, Crawford received the Alexander C. Bush Scholarship Award for service to others with kindness, the William Bennett Regan Award for outstanding leadership and commitment to public service and was inducted into the Charleston School of Law Forensic Club for demonstrated leadership, professionalism, public service and academic commitment.

Crawford is a 2005 graduate of Cheraw High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina. During law school, Crawford was a member of the James L. Petigru American Inn of Court, the Executive Leadership Council, served as President of the Criminal Law Society and received the Charleston School of Law Giving Back Award.

Crawford will join the Cockrell Law Firm of Chesterfield in December 2012.
