Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Dec. 21, at Zoar United Methodist Church.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Demby was born Feb. 3, 1978 a son of Annelle Freeman Demby and the late Everett Eugene Demby. He was a 1997 graduate of Chesterfield High School and a graduate of North American Institute of Aviation. Everett was an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Instructor and was certified in inspection authorization. He was also a private pilot and Avionics Technician. Everett was a manager and co-owner of Grits & Groceries. He was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church and Ruby Masonic Lodge No. 314. Everett enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, collecting arrowheads, boat riding on the river, and was an avid Gamecock fan. Everett was a very compassionate person, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Overall, he was an aviation enthusiast with a passion for flying and was an entrepreneur.
Surviving is his wife, Krista Demby of the home; a daughter, Hazel Annelle “Hazee” Demby of the home; mother, Annelle Freeman Demby of Chesterfield; three sisters, Jennifer Demby (Eric) Gaskins of Ruby, Tammy Davis and Kathy Demby Campbell both of Chesterfield; siblings, Layla Gaskins of Ruby and Callie Quick of Chesterfield, Colie Davis and Devin Carnes of Chesterfield, Cathy and Richard Carnes of Chesterfield, Lee (Jessica) Carnes of Chesterfield; also Stuart Davis and Barry Teal Jr. of Chesterfield.
