Wallace Mechanical Supply, a company which offers pipes, valves and fitters, has been a Certified Minority Business in North and South Carolina for 26 years. The City of Greensboro recently recognized the company as Contractor of the Year. Funderburk’s company also has been spotlighted by the City of Durham for being a Small Disadvantage Business Enterprise. According to Funderburk, business alliances such as these enable small businesses “to buy product at reduced prices and to pass these cost savings on to our customers.”
