The Greater Cheraw Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Twilight Par 3 Two-Player night golf tournament Aug. 23, at Cheraw State Park.
Call the Chamber of Commerce at 537-7681 or visit the office at 221 Market Street to register your team. The tournament will be limited to 24 teams.
The driving range will open at 7 p.m. Tee-off time is 8 p.m. Hot dogs and burgers will be served. No coolers, please. Beverages will be available for purchase.
The event will feature a 9 hole Par 3 course, with two-player captain’s choice. There will be a Hole-in-One Contest with four holes. Prizes will be awarded for the 3 closest to the pin contests. Each team will receive three night glow balls, $5 for additional balls.
The entry fee is $25 per player which includes golf, night glow balls, glow sticks, cart, free range balls, prizes, and the cookout. There will be a $5 fee for the hole-in-one contest. Or, you can purchase three chances at the hole-in-one for $10. There will be a limit of two per player for a $5 Mulligan fee.
