A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, from Oakridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Watts officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Born in Kershaw, Mr. Vincent was a son of the late Willis Elliott and Eva Bowers Vincent. He had retired from Springs Industries.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Vincent; and four brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two children, Judy V. Holley (Bill) Rickman and Jerry (Karen) Vincent of Kershaw; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally V. Faile of Kershaw; and four brothers, Frank Vincent of Kershaw, Mickel Vincent of Camden, Paul Vincent of Cheraw, and Larry Vincent of Kershaw.
Arrangements were entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
