SOCIETY HILL – James O’Brien Hagan, 77, died Jan. 28, 2010.
The family received friends 2-3 p.m. Jan. 31, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw.
Funeral services followed at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial was held in Old Saint David’s Cemetery.
James was the son of the late Jessie James and Ethel Maude Lowrimore Hagan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known to his friends as “Yard Dog”.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Hagan and Steve Hagan.
Surviving is his wife, Linda Chapman Hagan of Society Hill; sons, Mike (Mary) Hagan, Timmy (Susie) Hagan, all of Blenheim; a daughter, Gwen (Jason) Robinson of Florence; sisters, Junene Vierra and Bobbie (Ray) Schnell all of Garden City; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Kiser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
