Layton Dean Norris, 82, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Norris was the son of the late Crandel Gray and Violet Sloan Norris.
He is survived a son, Gary Norris of Georgia, a daughter, Jonelle Ingram of Chesterfield, a sister, June Ethridge of Norfolk, Va., four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
