CHERAW – Lillian Bartlette Lamoreux McRae, 79, died Jan. 26, 2010.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 29, at First Baptist Church, Cheraw. Burial was held in Old Saints David’s Cemetery.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Jan. 28, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw.

Lillian was the daughter of the late Clarence Otis and Paulyne Phillips Lamoreux. She was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cheraw and the Friendship Sunday school class. She directed the Junior Choir at the church for many years.

Surviving is her husband, George Robert “Bobby” McRae, Sr. of Cheraw; sons, George Robert McRae, Jr. of Darlington, Phillips Lamoreux McRae, Sr. of Troy, N.C.; a daughter, Lillian Janice McRae of Shrewsbury, MA; a brother, Clarence Otis Lamoreux, Jr. of Greenville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
