Lois “Lolo” Tucker Poston, 68, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at First Baptist Church, Cheraw. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw.

Born in Society Hill, she was a daughter of the late John Wilson and Julia Rezell Keith Tucker. She was a member of Society Hill Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping, cooking and catering. Poston was preceded in death by her parents listed above, a brother, James Wilson Tucker Sr.

Surviving are her husband Allen L. Poston, son, Ronald Scott (Tracie) Douglas of Cheraw, brothers, Henry Patrick Tucker of Bennettsville, Francis Garrett (Joni)Tucker of Society Hill, Charles Randolph (Patty) Tucker of Society Hill, sisters, Carolyn (Courtney) T. Stokes of Society Hill, Lola (Wayne) T. James of Hartsville, Gladys (Don) T. Stephens of York, Atlas (Julius) Loflin of Cheraw, five grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.
