Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Aug. 6 at New Meltonville Baptist Church, Peachland, N.C. Burial was held in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Beulah Loretta Miller Cabbagestalk, daughter of the late Harmon Miller and Tessie Crawford Miller was born July 11, 1951.
At an early age, she joined the Nicey Grove Baptist Church, Jefferson. Later in life, she moved her membership to Meltonville Baptist Church, Peachland, N.C.
She was employed at Comfy Division Dawson in Wadesboro, N.C. for many years. She also worked for the Sandpiper Knitting Company in Pageland until her retirement.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Mostly, she enjoyed her grandchildren and working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by five siblings.
Surviving is her husband, Clifton Cabbagestalk; a daughter, Keyon Miller (Jeremy), Pageland; four sons, Kendrick Miller (Nellie) of Mt. Croghan, Kerry Miller (Melissa) of Norfolk, Va., Kieron Miller (Jaquette) and Michael Cabbagestalk of Pageland; two children she raised, Paula Boulware of Pageland and Dermont Miller of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Khadeja Sturdivant of Monroe, N.C., Kentasia Miller of Pageland and Jaden Miller of Norfolk, Va., Mikiela White of Monroe, N.C., Tori Brooks of Monroe, N.C., Jamarius Williams of Pageland, Paulette Willis of Monroe, N.C. and Tyliyah Chambers of Mt. Croghan; five sisters, Mary Lee White (Leroy) of Austin, TX, Alton Odessa Miller and Vernar Miller both of Pageland, Carrie Lee Kennedy of Angelus and Glennie Mae Blakeney of Pageland; seven brothers, Albert Miller (Sadie), Harvin Hogan Miller (Bessie) and Howard Leroy Miller all of Pageland, Roosevelt Blakeney (Mary Jane) of Pageland, Bobby Blakeney (Pattie) of Pageland, and Alphonzo Miller, Jefferson; a step mother, Annie B. Miller of Jefferson; an uncle, David
Crawford of Pageland; an aunt, Ruth Meritt, Charlotte, N.C.; five step daughters and five step sons; fifteen step grandchildren and five great step grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Flemming Funeral Home-Pageland was in charge of arrangements.
