Mt. Croghan Cleanup set for April 5

MT. CROGHAN - The Mt. Croghan community will again participate in the Palmetto Pride community cleanup program.

Palmetto Pride is the nation's largest organized annual cleanup, beautification and community improvement program.

At a meeting on March 4, Mayor David Gordon and the Town Council declared the week of March 30 as community cleanup week. All residents are encouraged to participate. During that week, bags of litter may be left at the museum for pickup on Saturday. Volunteers are requested to meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 5 for final downtown cleanup effort.

A free lunch will be served and participants will receive a Palmetto Pride tee shirt.

There is a sign-up sheet in the Mt. Croghan Post Office. For more information call 634-6123.
