Nancy Myers Burch, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Rock Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Ruby.
Committal and interment followed in the Timmonsville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Croghan.
Burch was born in Ruby, on Sept. 18, 1944, the seventh of fifteen children to the late L. B. and Coleatha Myers. She received formal education in the Chesterfield County School District. Burch joined Rock Springs Baptist Church in Ruby. Later, she joined Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at Calvary Christian School as a preschool teacher.
Burch is survived by her three daughters, Halina Burch, Roxie (Robert) Burch Patterson and Sheri Burch, three grandsons, siblings, Clerow (Peggy) Myers, Mayro Myers, Inezzie (Arthur) Rivers, Jerry (Dorothy Hean) Myers, Francis Jean (Andrew) McCoy, Louise Williams, Redessa Myers, Carolyn (Johnny) Tyson, and Daisie McMillian.
