CHERAW – Veterans Day is approaching and time has come once again to honor those who serve our country and have proven their loyalty to their fellowmen and families.
The On Stage Theatre Group in conjunction with the Cheraw Arts Commission is sponsoring their annual “A Musical Tribute to Veterans” beginning tonight through Saturday (Oct. 6-7) at Theatre on the Green. Showtime for both nights is at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, however, due to limited seating tickets may be picked up at the Cheraw Arts Commission.
With the approval of On Stage and the Cheraw Arts Commission, two local veterans groups will also be present to accept donations at the theatre door. All donations are optional for those who wish to contribute.
Rev. Bill Oldland of St. David’s Episcopal Church will present the opening dialogue followed by a variety of musical entertainment.
Listed below are just a few of the people who have helped make every Veterans Day in Cheraw a huge success.

Rev. Bill Oldland moved to Cheraw in Feb. 07 as Rector of St. David’s Episcopal Church. He also serves as Youth Pastor at St. David’s. Since coming to Cheraw, he has been very involved in the community as well as a member of the Ministerial Association.
