Peter James DeMarco and Emily Paige Pusser will marry July 30.
Mrs. Ernest Hugh Pusser Sr., of Chesterfield, announces the engagement of daughter Emily Paige Pusser, of Chesterfield, to Peter James DeMarco, of Bloomsburg, Penn.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Ernest Hugh Pusser Sr.
Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Valentino Sr., of Chesterfield, and the late Louis Davis Rivers Sr. Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. John Welborn Pusser, of Chesterfield.
Emily Paige is a 2004 graduate of Chesterfield High where she was class valedictorian. She graduated from Furman University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in English. She recently completed two years in the Peace Corps where she was assigned to Cameroon, Africa.
The groom-elect is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael James DeMarco, of Bloomsburg.
Maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sanborn, of South Hadley, Mass.
Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold DeMarco, of Quincy, Mass.
Peter is a 2004 graduate of Wyoming Seminary, in Kingston, Penn.
He graduated in 2008 from Furman University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He recently completed a master’s degree in African Studies from the University of Ghana at Accra in Africa.
Peter will be attending law school in the fall at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
The wedding will be held 6 o’clock, July 30, 2011, at St. Paul United Methodist, in Chesterfield.
