Megan Elizabeth Rockefeller of Greenville, and Andrew James White of Columbia, were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
Minister George Chandler of Sumter performed the 6 p.m. ceremony held at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt’s home in Yalaha, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Deborah Rockefeller of Leesburg, Fla. Megan is the granddaughter of Cliff and Ethel Twetan and Pearl Rockefeller all of Leesburg, Fla. She is a graduate of North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
The groom is the son of James and Lyall White of Cheraw. Andrew is the grandson of George and Tona Chandler of Sumter. He is a graduate of North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Science in clinical biology and is currently a third year medical student at the University of South Carolina.
The bride was given away by her father, Dan Rockefeller, in a double ring ceremony. Esther Montando, Miriam Amesbury and Brian Darnell were musicians for the wedding. Vocalists included Jason and Allyson Waller, and Brian and Noelle Darnell.
Stacy Musser, the bride’s cousin, was the maid of honor wearing a knee length, coral dress. Megan, the bride, wore an A-line, strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline with a satin ribbon tied around the back. The bridal veil was edged with pearls and rhinestones. The bride carried coral and white peonies with garden roses and lilies.
A reception was held following the ceremony.
The couple will reside in Columbia.
