CHERAW -The Neighborhood Revitalization Foundation will hold two community forums that will allow the public to meet the two candidates running for mayor in the Nov. 6 municipal election.
The two candidates are Charlie Rose and Scott Hunter.
The first forum will be held on Oct. 25 at Southside Park from 6-8 p.m. The Rev. Jerry Corbett of Pee Dee Union Baptist Church will serve as moderator.
The public is asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the forum because there will be no bleacher seating available.
The second forum is scheduled for Nov. 1 at the Chesterfield-Marlboro EOC building, located on Front Street. The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sam Bass, director of the Chesterfield-Marlboro EOC, will serve as moderator.
The two forums are open to the community and the public is encouraged to attend.
