As part of a new chapter for The Cheraw Chronicle & The Chesterfield Advertiser, we’ve added new email addresses with our new company name.
Versa Capital Management, LLC (Versa), a private equity investment firm, announced several months ago the creation of Civitas Media, LLC (Civitas), a new community news media company. Civitas, Latin for “community” or “citizen,” combines four media entities owned by Versa: Freedom Central, Heartland Publications, Impressions Media, and Ohio Community Media.
The Cheraw Chronicle & The Chesterfield Advertiser is owned by Heartland Publications, along with several neighboring newspapers including the Richmond County Daily Journal, Laurinburg Exchange, and Anson Record.
Instead of having heartlandpublications.com at the end of our email addresses, our new email addresses will end with @civitasmedia.com.
