The Theatre on the Green will be rocking this Friday evening to the rhythms of early 60’s pop and rock music with The Explorer’s Club.

This energetic rock band from Charleston draws inspiration from such musical talents as The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Zombies, The Byrds, Phil Spector and Chuck Berry. They have recently performed with Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Tickets for the Endless Summer… Forever Young Concert are available through the Cheraw Arts Commission at the Community Center on Powe Street in Cheraw, or at the door. A single ticket may be purchased for $10; two for $18. The performance begins at 7 p.m.

“The group will perform some of their original compositions along with familiar, classic oldies,” said Lindsay Bennett, executive director for the Cheraw Arts Commission. For more information call 843-537-8420.
