The former home of Madeline Brittion at 303 West Main Street in Chesterfield was moved last week to its new "home"  several blocks west on West Main. The house, built in 1825, is owned by Wesley and Amanda Clark Davis. The house is now located beside the home of Mrs. Davis' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clark. The Davis family plans to renovate the home which the Brittion family had owned for years. The Brittion family once published the Chesterfield Advertiser. This was published Aug. 23, 1990 in the Cheraw Chronicle and Chesterfield Advertiser.
