Assistant Superintendent for Operations Frank Patterson updates the district school board on the progress of the new Cheraw Intermediate School during their visit to the facility Feb. 12. This was just one of several stops on the first half of the board's annual tour of facilities throughout the district. The new school will open its doors at the beginning of the 1996-97 school year and will house approximately 900 students in grades 3-6, replacing Robert Smalls Elementary and Cheraw Elementary.
