The Cheraw Chronicle - Students to celebrate Veteran’s day

On Thursday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. the students and staff of Cheraw Intermediate School will celebrate Veteran’s Day with a program, which honors all of our family and friends who are veterans. All members of every branch of military service are invited to find a place of honor at our school for this celebration on Veterans’ Day, 2010.

The program will be hosted by the fifth grade students and teachers and will feature The Cheraw High School Honor Guard with the presentation of the colors, the poignant ceremony of the white tablecloth, powerful musical performances featuring patriotic tunes, a moving power point presentation, and a stirring program culmination with ‘Taps’ performed on the bugle.

Veterans and their family members will be honored after the program with refreshments in the CIS Art Gallery.

Please join the Cheraw Intermediate family on Thursday, November 11 at 1 pm for this special program as we pay tribute to those Americans who have served us all in honor. For more information call 921-1030.
