Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Nov. 7, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Teal Cemetery.
Mrs. Hartwick was born Oct. 1, 1928, a daughter of the late John Gurley Roscoe and Geneva Rivers Roscoe. She was a former employee of Chesterfield Webbing and retired from Chesterfield Manufacturing. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she was a former choir member.
Della Mae was preceded in death by a grandson, Lee Hartwick; a sister, Mavis Beyersdorf; a brother, Robert Hugh Roscoe; and by a half brother, Ralph Roscoe.
Surviving are two sons, Junior (Lynn) Hartwick of Marion, and Michael (Dolores) Hartwick of Orrick, MO; three brothers, J.L. Roscoe of Chesterfield, Reece (Bernicia) Roscoe of Cheraw, and Billy (Frances) Roscoe of Columbia; two sisters, Pat Gainey of Cheraw, Aronica (Bennie) Teal of Chesterfield; two half brothers, Johnny Roscoe of Patrick, and Ervin Roscoe of Hamlet, N.C.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and also April (Don) Gooch of Cheraw; Gladys Kelly of Chesterfield and Melanie Adams of Mt. Croghan.
