Funeral services were Nov. 27, at Thompson Creek Baptist with burial in the church cemetery with military honors.
Mills was a Farmer and a retired employee of J. P. Stevens with 28 years of service. Mr. Mills was a Technical Sergeant with the U. S. Army having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a former FSA Board member and a former member of the Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
He was a member of Ruby Masonic Lodge 314.
Surviving are sons Jerry W. Mills, of Chesterfield, and Randy H. Mills, of Ruby; daughter Mary Lynn Rivers, of Chesterfield; brothers Lawrence Mills, of Lancaster, S.C., and Bobby Gene Mills, of Monroe, N.C.; and sisters Eunice Christian, of Macon, Ga., Minnie Jo Moser, of Monroe, N.C. and Ann Austin, of Pageland.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
