Funeral services were held Jan. 16 at Calvary Baptist Church in Jefferson with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation was held prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
Watts was born November 4, 1940 in Pageland, a son of the late Johnny A. and Mae Rollins Watts. He was a graduate of Pageland High School and a retired carpenter. He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed model railroads and working word puzzles.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Benjamin Watts; and by sisters, Lucille Funderburk, and Hattie McManus.
Surviving are sons, Steven (Evelyn) Watts and Doug Watts of Jefferson, and Ricky Watts of Pageland; brothers Willie Watson and Carson Watts both of Alton, N.C.; sister, Martha Wright of Rock Hill; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
