Two different classes will be offered. A beginner class will be held 10 a.m. -2 p.m., March 26 and an advanced class will be offered 5-7 p.m., March 25. Both classes will be held at Wannamaker’s Cheraw store at 154 Market Street.
Registered Dietitian, Amy Bridges, will cover a variety of topics including an overview of diabetes, diet and nutrition education, effective disease management, and steps for controlling diabetes. Participants will also be given the chance to ask the dietitian questions. Light refreshments specifically prepared for diabetics will be served.
