‘Go Figure,’ workshop led by Robin Bersinger

CHERAW – The Cheraw Arts Commission will hold an Adult Art Night 101, April 26, 6:30-8 p.m. at the Oyster Bar Restaurant. The program for the night will be “Go Figure,” an introduction to figure drawing, teaching basic principles of figure drawing with a live model.

No experience is required, the introduction will be beneficial to those wanting to experiment with the human figure in artwork and enhance figure drawing skills. The workshop will address gesture drawing, methods for proportional drawing of the human body and conclude with a reclining figure pose.

Local artist Robin Bersinger, ho views the human figure as her favorite subject, will be the instructor for the evening. Registration is $10, cost includes all supplies and instructional materials needed for the event, participants will be able to complete several pieces during the workshop.
