CHESTERFIELD – The Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2011 award recipients. The awards will be presented at the Chamber’s annual banquet May 26.
Nominations are requested for the W.D. Craig Lifetime Community Service Award which is presented to an individual who has made outstanding service to the Chesterfield community during his or her lifetime. Nominations are also being solicited for the Citizen of the Year awards which recognizes the community service of an individual over past year and the Business of the Year Award which is presented to the business/organization exhibiting outstanding support of community activities.
Last year’s award recipients for the categories above were Helen Stroud, W.D. Craig Lifetime Community Service Award; David Huntley, Citizen of the Year;Chesterfield Feed and Seed, Business of the Year. Other awards presented at the annual banquet include the Business Improvement Award, Business Woman of the Year, Bruce Rogers Memorial Award, Presidential Award, Community Service Award, and Friend of Chesterfield.
