Preston Randolph ‘Randy’ Freeman

CHERAW — Preston Randolph “Randy” Freeman Jr., 52, died June 18, 2011.

Funeral services were held June 21 at Zoar United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held June 20 at the residence, Cheraw.

Mr. Freeman was born May 19, 1959, in Cheraw, a son of Preston Randolph “Bud” Freeman Sr. and Mary Beth Robeson Freeman. He was a graduate of Cheraw High School, Class of 1977, and attended Coastal Carolina. Randy was a former employee of Cheraw Country Club, and a member of Zoar United Methodist Church.

Randy is survived by his parents, Bud and Mary Beth Freeman of Cheraw; and a sister, Betsy (Greg) Roumillat of Summerville.

Memorials may be made to Zoar United Methodist Church “Backpack Ministry,” 2842 Zoar Road, Cheraw, S.C. 29520.

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home served the Freeman family.
