Barry Louallen

PAGELAND — Barry Louallen, 50, died June 21, 2011.

Funeral services were held June 26 at Pageland Community Center. Burial followed in Mount Harmon Baptist Church Cemetery, Pageland.

Mr. Barry Louallen was born on August 21, 1960 to the late James E. and Lily Mae Blakeney Louallen.

Barry was employed by Tyson Foods for twenty-one years. He attended the Chesterfield County public school system and graduated from Central High School, Pageland. He continued his education at Northeastern Technical College, Cheraw. At an early age, he dedicated his life to the Lord at Mt. Harmon Missionary Baptist Church, Pageland. He attended Hope Family Worship Center, Pageland.

Barry enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and scooter, but his greatest passion was reading the bible and ministering to others about the goodness of God. He was always dedicated to helping others. Barry always had a smile on his face, always encouraging someone; leading and guiding them with the word of God.

Barry is survived by sisters, Elizabeth Ann (Lamont) Allen, Frances Louallen (Lee), Pageland; a brother, Kenneth Louallen (Roberta), Pageland; half sisters, Carolyn Edwards, Indian Trial NC, and Cathy McCray, Pageland; godchildren, Dabarrius Crawford, Lancaster and Lamont Thomas III, Pageland; aunts, Jearlean (Johnny) Blakeney, Lola (Tommy) Blakeney, Cathy (Amos) Cole, Patricia (Ronnie) Hammond, Juanita Louallen, Susie Bracey, Sandra Blakeney, Ozie Blakeney all of Pageland, Bernice Ross, Morven, NC and Alice Louallen, New York; uncles, Hurley (Christine) Blakeney, Mt. Croghan, Levoid Johnson, Morven, NC and Harold Lee Louallen, Charlotte, NC; great aunt, Sarah Lee Bracey, Pageland; and a great uncle, Jimmy (Nannie) Bracey, Pageland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Louallen and brother, James E. Louallen, II.

Flemming Funeral Home served the Louallen family.
