Mrs. Eva Threatt Cunningham, 60 , of Monroe, N.C., died on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, N.C. She was born Jan. 7, 1951, the daughter of the late Parnell Threatt and Evon Threatt.

Visitation will be at Nelson Funeral Home 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10. Memorial Services will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at Pleasant Hill C.M.E Church, Hoffman, N.C.

Homegoing Service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Parkwood Institutional C.M.E. Church, 802 Tom Hunter Road, Charlotte, with Pastor Rev. Dr. Cathy C. Jones.

Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evon Threatt; her father and stepmother, Parnell and Oletha Threatt; her sisters, Evon Threatt Helms and Louvenia Wright; and her brother: James E. Stevens.

She is survived by her husband Rev. Cleveland E. Cunningham; sons: Gabriel E. Cunningham of Wichita, Kan., and Michel E. Cunningham of Monroe, N.C.; grandson Kaleb Duval McCray Cunningham of Wichita; sisters, Debbie Henderson, Minister Lisa Jones both of Lancaster, S.C.; and brother, Rev. Kennedy (Zandra) Threatt of Lancaster.
