The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department conducted its fourth fly-over hunt for marijuana plants last Friday and found three patches. The department made one arrest, and snatched up 14 plants.

Friday's hunt kicked off at 10 a.m. from the Cheraw airport, as Chesterfield County Sheriff Sam Parker and pilot Wayne Matthews, of the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), took to the skies and headed toward Patrick. The search continued toward McBee and up through Jefferson to Pageland, before the three patches were found around 4 p.m. in the woods off of Hornsboro Road.
