The Christmastime in Olde Towne Open House is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30 with special holiday shopping from 4 to 6 p.m. Horse and buggy and wagon rides around Olde Towne will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and the annual tree lighting ceremony at the 1884 Courthouse will be at 6:15 p.m. Pictures with Santa can be made at the old courthouse between 4 and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The event is sponsored by the Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, along with Avery's Beauty Salon, Chesterfield Feed & Seed, Chesterfield Floral & Gift, Chesterfield Hardware & RadioShack, Crawford Furniture Mattress Outlet, Crawford Furniture Factory Outlet, Kevin Lear on Main, Hairstyles by Jan, Living Word Christian Bookstore, Savannah, Shear Magic, Stroud & Save and Hi-Tech Computers.

Holiday shoppers can enter to win a gift from each of the participating businesses. The prize give-away will be at 5 p.m.

Shoppers will also be entered to win one of five $100 gift certificates awarded at the tree lighting ceremony.

Entry forms are available at participating businesses until Nov. 30.

Also planned for the holiday, the Chesterfield County Christmas Parade will be Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. down Main Street in Chesterfield.
