Julia Lowery Sellers, 84, of Chesterfield, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004.

A graveside funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8 in Thompson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Thompson Creek Baptist Church, 3403 Womble Hill Road, Chesterfield, S.C. 29709.

Born in Anson County, N.C., Mrs. Sellers was a daughter of the late Duran A. and Julia Watts Lowery, and the widow of Laland Sellers. She was a homemaker and member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Thomas L. (Mary Martha) Sellers of Chesterfield; a daughter, Geraldine S. (Charles) Tucker of Blackstock; three granddaughters, Donna Roof of Blackstock, and Denise Talbert and Pam Gaddy of Pawley's Island; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jerry L. Tucker, three brothers and three sisters.

Arrangements were entrusted to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
