A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4 from Westfield Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Born in Miami, Fla., Mr. Crawford was a son of Margaret Rhynes Crawford and the late Vohelm "Shack" Crawford. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cheraw, and was an industrial machinist.
Surviving are his mother of Chesterfield; his wife, Marian Burch Crawford of Cheraw; two sons, Andrew Banks Crawford and Stephen Richard Crawford both of Cheraw; a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Crawford of Cheraw; and a brother, Stanley Dean Crawford of Chesterfield.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kiser Funeral Home.
