Jasper Adams, 85, of Chesterfield, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004.

A funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19 from Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in David's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Anson County, N.C., Mr. Adams was a son of the late Hamp and Annie Mae James Adams, and was the widower of Arie Eddins Adams. He was a retired farmer and mechanic and was a member of David's Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Tim M. (Sherry) Adams and Larry J. (Patricia) Adams all of Chesterfield; two daughters, Betty A. (Billy) Jordan and Faye A. (Larry) Funderburk all of Chesterfield; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Arrangements were entrusted to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
