Annie Ruth Fuller, 57, of Cheraw, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 after a lengthy illness.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24 from Grooms Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. C.A. McKenney officiating. Burial followed in Sawmill Church Cemetery.

Born in Marlboro County, Mrs. Fuller was a daughter of the late Ben Fuller and Amanda Johnson Fuller. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Greensboro, N.C. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church growing up.

Surviving are her mother of High Point, N.C.; an adoptive mother, Hattie Harris of Cheraw, by whom she was reared; a son, Darrell (Regina) Fuller of Thomasville, N.C.; two daughters, Sonji (Fredrick) Johnson of Thomasville, and Jacqueline (James) Medley of Greensboro; 24 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Williams of Cheraw, James (Vel) Fuller, Dan Junior Fuller and Larry Fuller all of Thomasville; nine sisters, Shirlanne Fuller, Sarah (Thomas) Baskin, Lenora Fuller, Lauramaye (Levi) Williams, Linda Fuller, Daine Fuller, Gloria Warren, Hattie Bell Lee and Helena Williams all of Highpoint, N.C.; a special friend, Richard Faulkner; a special niece, Lisa Fuller; and a host of other family members and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Grooms Funeral Home.
