A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 from Tabernacle UMC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Born in Darlington County, Mr. Campbell was a son of James and Ellen Rogers Campell.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Sullivan Campbell; two children, James Campbell and Denise Wicker; four siblings, Tina Cassidy, Sarah Campbell and Jimmy Campbell; and grandchildren.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home.
