A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Born in Shelby, N.C., Mr. McClain was a son of Henry A. McClain Jr. and Natalie Shull Jolly. He was employed with Jones Furniture in Cheraw and was a member of the South Carolina National Guard.
Surviving are his father of Cheraw; his mother of Gaffney; and grandparents, Buddy and Margie McClain of Cheraw, and Virginia Shull of Shelby.
Arrangements were entrusted to Norton Funeral Home of Cheraw.
