A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 from Trinity Holiness Church. Burial followed in Wilbert Cook, Jr. Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Chesterfield County, Mr. Roberts was a son of Gary Carson Roberts Sr. and Linda Jones Ransom.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Mency Roberts of Latta; his mother; seven sisters, Lisa Welch, Lynn McKnight and Debbie Hyatt all of Latta, Dawn Ransom and Tonya Ransom of Bennettsville, Kristie Weatherford of Marlboro County, and Julia Keith of Society Hill; six brothers, Bobby Roberts and Scott Roberts of Latta, Donnie Roberts of Lake View, Kevin Ransom of McColl, Johnny Wayne Weatherford of Marlboro County, and Michael King; a stepsister, Annie Rogers; and a stepbrother, Harvey Rogers.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home.
